Sylon VSIP4

Sylon VSIP4 blades encode up to four PAL/NTSC full D1 H.264 streams at maximum rate. Up to 20 4TE (20.3 mm) thin blades may be combined within a 3RU chassis to create a high density virtual matrix that simultaneously encodes streams from up to 80 cameras and/or PTZ domes. Sylon VSIP4 features include constant video quality, temporal scalability and variable frame rate that ensure excellent quality while minimizing network bandwidth utilization and storage requirements.

Sylon VSIP4 features important security-enhancing capabilities such as automated generation of user-defined messages and other relevant hardware and software events based on video motion detection (VMD), tampering detection and digital I/O. PTZ cameras may be controlled via direct digital I/O or through a RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 low-latency serial link. A feature-rich user-friendly web interface that supports most codec parameters makes setup fast and easy and a TCP/IP API facilitates seamless integration.

Standalone models of Sylon VSIP4 can use a single power supply or dual power supplies for redundancy. Encoders are hot-swappable and provide backplane configuration storage for instantaneous automatic reconfiguration that minimizes downtime.
