Sylon NVR

The Sylon NVR is a flexible H.264 MPEG-4 video recorder for security applications. It is compatible with VITEC and other encoders and IP cameras that conform to the RTP and RTSP standards. Sylon NVR can be integrated with proprietary supervisory systems to provide global video security solutions that are suitable for industrial parks, airports, railway stations, motorways, city centers, financial institutions, malls, and other public and private sites.

To accommodate the limited storage and bandwidth constraints of large installations, the Sylon NVR uses dynamic transcoding, temporal scaling and I-frame recording. It features continuous and event recording modes and supports AAC audio as well as H.264 and MPEG-4 video. Video may be streamed from the Sylon NVR immediately as it is recorded or extracted as MPEG-4 files.

The Sylon NVR includes a TCP/IP API that is compatible with VSIP and SIPIX products for unlimited seamless integration with 3rd party video management systems.
