FMV Mobile Blade enhances combat situational awareness by disseminating real-time tactical video from the core network to smart phones and tablets in the battlefield and in remote locations. Designed to support the rapidly changing network and bandwidth requirements of military environments, the Optibase FMV Mobile Blade supports a full range of networks including 3G, HSPA+, 4G LTE, GPRS, WiFi and WiMAX. The highly dense blade intercepts up to 10 unique multicast FMV streams and distribute to up to 100 mobile users at a time.

Full integration with the Optibase EZ TV Enterprise IPTV System and Optibase FITIS Situational Awareness and ISR Platform enables the Optibase FMV Mobile Blade to rapidly deploy streaming to phones and tablets by relaying existing IPTV feeds or newly created IP streams using industry standard protocols optimized for mobile delivery. The modular blade is designed to fit in any Optibase MGW Blade System.

Remote management and advanced clustering capabilities allow the Optibase FMV Mobile Blade to operate as a head-end device or edge appliance and maximize network utilization efficiency and quality of service (QoS) by positioning streaming services as close as possible to the end user. The FMV Mobile Streaming Blade can provide unicast video on demand to hundreds of users that connect from outside the LAN via connections that do not support multicast video, such as VPNs, IP tunnels and even dial-up connections.
